TZOMPANTLI
Inspired by the ancient Aztec Tzompantli, Arturo Fresán’s exhibition TZOMPANTLI reimagined the ceremonial skull racks as a reflection of modern crises:
industrial greed, systemic neglect, and societal violence. Spanning five series and over 70 pieces created across three years, the show was a bold, visceral experience filled with color, dynamism, and layered storytelling.
